View all 11 ReflectionsHarold A. Kegler was married to my maternal grandmother, Judith A. (Johnson) Kegler. When he died, she was pregnant with his son, Harold W. Kegler. My mother was born to a subsequent marriage. Uncle Harold followed in his father's footsteps and was an officer with the Carpentersville, IL police force. I believe he rose in rank and retired in 1972 or 1973. He and his wife, Isabella (Betty) moved to Iron Mountain, MI. They had two daughters, Linda and Judith.
Harold W. Kegler died in October 2019 at age 93.
