That horrible day I was a rookie Sergeant in Communications Division when my Channel 4 dispatcher the great Ron Melton turned on the red light on his console indicating he needed a Supervisor. I shall never forget Ron sitting there with tears in his eyes handling that busy radio traffic. I recently found the cassette tape I made of those terrible moments. My wife was stunned as we listened.
I never knew you personally but our lives intersected that day and we wore the same uniform. May God bless your family as you await them in heaven.
