It has been just a few days short of nineteen years; but I hope that I can always remember that awful day when Sheriff Bill Hose sat by my side and (now ) Sheriff Rick Keuleber literally "had our back" as we broke too many traffic laws headed to Lititz to impart the news that every LEO's family dreads to hear; as well as to remember the supreme privilege of officiating at Skip's Funeral.

Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) has designated January 9 as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day , and ever since its inception I have been relighting the 4000+ blue Christmas light on my Springfield Township property dusk to dawn in tribute to Skip, David Tome, Henry Schaad, and all the fallen of York County.

May their Memory be Eternal!
