View all 40 ReflectionsI remember hanging out with you as a kid when you would do off duty work at Bi-Lo grocery store while my mom was shopping. You always tolerated me and were so kind. Truth be told, I looked at you as a father figure more than I looked at my own dad. You were a very kind man and a very big influence on people's lives, including my own. Rest in peace sir. I appreciate the time I got to spend with you. Thank you for your service to our country, our city, and our community.
