Lil Mo, My dad, Peter Bencke served in the NOPD for over 20 years and retired in 2003, and used to speak highly of you and when you stopped me on I-10 eastbound through Michoud a few days before your passing, you treated me great. I was about 17 or 18 and you were in the Mustang. Your dad and mine were the old vets on the force. I was going to join the NOPD but ended up in the Air Force. 24 years served and now retired, I still remember that stop that day. RIP.
To the family left behind, I hope your hearts are full, knowing how your fallen have left memories to so many people.
