View all 19 ReflectionsI met Brett in mandate school almost 34 years ago. Our class started in July 2001 and in our first week of school, as a class, we attended the funeral of Cobb County PD Officer Robbie Ingram who was killed in the line of duty. I remember Brett being so quiet in class and on break always talking about hunting and being a newlywed. By the end of our class, Brett was laughing, and joking and became a dear friend. I remember the day he left us and I prayed so hard that day for his wife and young son. I remember thinking his son would never get a chance to go hunting or fishing with his dad. They are all still in my prayers to this day. RIP Brett.
