was always an adventure! Sometimes he took me with him when he was checking fishing licences. I remember that he always was able to be friendly and the fishermen were respectful. However, if there was a violation, I recollect that the violater got a good tongue lashing and a ticket! He, as I found out years after his passing, was loved and truly respected by so many others, even folks that he had ticketed.
