William R. Sellers

Patrolman Williams Sellers was killed in a motorcycle accident when the front wheel of his police motorcycle fell off. He was driving on the Northern State Parkway when the accident occurred. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Patrolman Sellers had been with the agency for six years.

On today, the 70th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served during World War II. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
