Dear Dad,

I miss you every single day, and now my heart is even heavier as I write this. Your son and my brother, Gary, has left us and I know in my heart that he’s now in heaven with you.

Losing him has been so painful, but I take comfort in imagining the two of you reunited, surrounded by peace, love, and God’s eternal light. Please watch over him, as I know you always would. Let him feel your warmth, strength, and guidance.

Dad, I pray that you’ll help him find his way in his new home with you. Let him know how deeply he was loved by all of us and how much he will be missed. I trust that you both are now our guardians, watching over us as we navigate life.

Until we meet again, please continue to hold him close, and know that I love you both beyond words.

Forever in my heart,
Mary Beth
