Reflections for K9 Vader

This is why I advocate to never leave a child, pet, animal, or in this case a 4 legged, furry officer, named K-9 Vadar, unattended in a vehicle, ESPECIALLY during the hottest temperatures. There's always a chance on electronic failure. Or at least have a back up system. Service dogs, and police dogs are allowed into public places with the handler attached. Please consider this! Let this wonderful police dog NOT die in vain. Make a change and save these well deserved animals! Thank you Vadar for your sweet service! So sorry for the error that caused your very young senseless passing!

The First & The Last

The first to sense the hostility of a suspect,
The first to react to protect his master,
The first to enter where danger lurks,
The first to detect the hidden intruder.
The first to take action against violence.
The first to sense his master’s joy.
The first to know his master’s sorrow or fear.
The first to give his life in defense of his master.
The last to be forgotten by those who work with others like him.
They know him as a “Partner”, not just an animal.

Heavenly Father, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 Partner and Family Member in the Line-of-Duty. Help us to provide support for them in their time of need. Allow us to be the rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief and strife, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your Compassionate Mercy, hear my prayer! in Christ Jesus' mighty and holy Name, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

A Holy Scripture Verse from 'The Law Enforcement Officer's Bible' of Comfort and Hope:

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." [Matthew 5:4 CSB]

K9 Vader, your name could have been Valor! There wasn't a time when you failed in your job, but the system failed you. Hearts that never knew you are broken; your partner needs comfort and to know he did nothing wrong, he followed protocol. Now you can rest and enjoy your place among the K9 heroes, who like you, served faithfully. May God bless your partner, team and family with peace.
