K9 Dax, Your commitment and contribution to the Pleasant Valley PD and the citizens of Wisconsin is unsurpassed. It is evident that even after injury, you continued to strive for excellence in rehab, seeking to continue to serve your partner and department. Now you can run freely, being with your brotherhood of K9 heroes. May God give your partner, department and family great peace and comfort in their loss of a super hero.

Lord God, of unfailing Love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 Partner and Family Member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide comfort and support. Please allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Please help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer in the Name of Your Beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His Authority, I pray. Amen.

John and Katie, your lives and dedication for Dax was apparent in his Happy but dedicated to his work demeanor. He is by far the most decorated K9 in the State of Illinois, and is up there with Cairo in the US. Definitely part of the “No Ordinary Dog” class. Dax did you proud. God speed Dax. Your Blue Family will take it from here.
