K9 Max, you will always be in memory. Everyone misses you and you were and amazing police dog. You risk your life out on the streets finding all sorts of things and protecting your partner. It’s so sad that people shoot police dogs for protecting the community. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We all miss you. Thank you for you service!!!

This breaks my heart because this dog gave his life for something he could never really understand. May his spirit play and relax over the rainbow bridge.

K9 Max, faster than the bullet struck you, God was already hanging your star on the horizon. Each time your partner looks up, remind him that your name is written in the heavens as a hero. May God bless and comfort your partner, family and department. Rest now and run with the other K9 heroes who no doubt gave you a huge welcome home as you crossed the Rainbow bridge.

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 family member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. Amen.
