Reflections for K9 Falco
The First & The Last
The first to sense the hostility of a suspect,
The first to react to protect his master,
The first to enter where danger lurks,
The first to detect the hidden intruder.
The first to take action against violence.
The first to sense his master’s joy.
The first to know his master’s sorrow or fear.
The first to give his life in defense of his master.
The last to be forgotten by those who work with others like him.
They know him as a “Partner”, not just an animal.

I came across this website about fallen Police Officers, and saw there was a section on K-9's. I clicked and saw there was so many! This breaks my heart to hear that these K-9 Police dogs are shot and killed, and that the criminals who kill them only get a few months in jail to a couple of years. This is outrageous!
My heart goes out to the Police officer and Handler of K-9 Office Falco. As I cannot imagine how he feels right now. What a loss! There needs to be more stricter penalties / Laws on the books for killing a K-9 Police Dogs in the line of duty so these criminals can be prosecuted and put away for more then a few years.
RIP Falco!!

This is incredibly sad news. It's even sadder that this is only considered a Level 6 felony and punishable by a mere 6 months to 2 1/2 years in jail!!! Acts of violence against law enforcement need much stiffer consequences! RIP K9 Falco. Thank you for your service, you are a hero

There is no death more honorable than one of sacrifice and duty. K9 Falco, you will be welcomed and honored in the great hall Valhalla! Somehow, thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but thank you. Hopefully, justice and accountability will prevail.

K9 Falco, You gave day after day for years, fearlessly and faithfully performing your duties to protect the rest of us. There must have been days when you did not want to work, yet you were unfailing and eager to be the very best! There is no question that you KNEW what was at stake - your 6th sense gave you special awareness. When will justice be served in your case and for the other K9s who have given their lives fighting evil? How long will it be before judgement tips the scales in favor of the specially gifted K9s God created for protecting mankind?
May He bless your partner, family and department with comfort and peace of heart. Thank you.

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families of our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a Law Enforcement K-9 family member in the Line-of-Duty, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. Amen.

This is incredibly sad news. It's even sadder that in Indiana this is only considered a Level 6 felony and punishable by a mere 6 months to 2 1/2 years in jail!!! Acts of violence against law enforcement need much stiffer penalties! We are losing far too many K9s and officers. RIP K9 Falco. Thank you for your service, you are a hero
