The Rainbow Bridge

I was the colours of the rainbow, in life here on Earth
I chose you as my beloved companion, since before my birth
I was the red of passion, my unconditional love for you
And the golden glow of orange, brightening your day when you were blue
I was the yellow warmth of the sunshine, when you were touched with cold
And the vibrant green of the grass, until my body became old
In body and beyond, I was and am, the vastness of the blue sky above
And the indigo represents my intuition, as I protected you with my love
Just like the scent of the flower violet, I brought sweetness to your days
And now I watch you fom the rainbow bridge, still with my loving gaze
All the colours of the rainbow, I brought to you so bright
I am now, and always was, all these colours combined - I am LIGHT
