End of Watch—I salute
Brother of fallen Police Officer William "Billy" Cohan of NRPD in MA. EOW 5-14-88.
April 5, 2024
As a tribute to Jas's heroic service, I suggest all K9 units should be equipped w custom designed inner safety cushioned crates securely attached onto vehicle back floor with doG securely fastened in crate w custom safety harness that protects the doGs esp their neck from trauma of high speed crash impact &/or unit roll over during any type emergency call. This should be nationwide protocol for all K9 units that could save these courageous partner police doGs from needless fatalities suffered. Good boy Jas. My brother a fellow doG lover and fallen officer (and I) salute u.
Civilian brother of fallen Police Officer William "Billy" Cohan.

The First & The Last
The first to sense the hostility of a suspect,
The first to react to protect his master,
The first to enter where danger lurks,
The first to detect the hidden intruder.
The first to take action against violence.
The first to sense his master’s joy.
The first to know his master’s sorrow or fear.
The first to give his life in defense of his master.
The last to be forgotten by those who work with others like him.
They know him as a “Partner”, not just an animal.
