Thank you for you service despite not having a choice. You went where no human officers had the guts to enter and was sacrificed for being thought of as only a tool. humans do not deserve "mans best friend", if you need something done then do it yourself....K-9 Kitt is the shining example of bravery unlike many officers today.

Id like to have a memorial flag in wood made for Braintree police and Kitts dog handler. I was USAF Military Police and US Military Customs inspector who used K9 while serving. This is a tragedy and Kitt needs to be remembered. I’m having someone make one for the Department

Almighty and eternal God, we ask You to be with the family of Police K9 Kitt of the Braintree MA Police Department. Even as Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was moved to weep over the death of his friend Lazarus, so we know You are touched by the tears of those who mourn the loss of Police K9 Kitt. In Your divine providence, fill the aching void in our hearts with Your comforting presence and grant peace through the assurance of Your love and care. In the mighty and holy name of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

During His three (3) year ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 GW]
