Our hearts were sadden after hearing about the loss of "Jake". Sgt. Jones and "Jake" provided invaluable support to Team Holman in effectively limiting the flow of contraband into our facility. "Jake" along with Sgt. Jones spent timeless hours at our front entrance performing searches of vendors, staff, and visitors. We salute "Jake" and Sgt. Jones for the the true professionalism they consistently displayed.
Thank you!

I don't know you or K-9 Jake personally but I know your pain. I know what it feels like to lose an animal as I had to have mine put down and it is no fun. I cried when I saw that Officer Jake had passed away. I was shocked. I know he did a tremendous job for ADOC and for you Sgt Jones. Please accept my condolences. Officer Jake will be missed by many as he was a family member of the ADOC.

Undoubtedly, Jake was one, of if not our best, narcotics detection K-9 in our ranks. Jake will certainly be missed by all of us in the Department. I for one will definitely miss him visiting the office and the play time we had. My heart is saddened for Sgt. Quintin Jones, as he not only loss a partner, he lost a close friend. Jake will be irreplaceable. Jake's passing will not go in vain, and we will do everything in our power to bring those responsible to justice.
