A Prayer for K9 Biggie:
Heavenly Father, the Florida Department of Corrections was fortunate to receive the gift of K9 Biggie from You. Let us celebrate his accomplishments and remember his selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. Now that K9 Biggie has left this life, please help the members of the Florida Department of Corrections cope with his loss with strength and courage. May K9 Biggie always be remembered as a trusted colleague who completed his missions with true dedication. Lord God, by Your Word, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! For Scripture promises that all flesh shall see the salvation of God! All dogs do go to heaven, because they have a spirit that epitomizes Your unconditional love. After all, DOG spelt backwards is GOD! Well done, good and faithful servant! Amen.

I AM A DEPUTY IN A K-9 CREW
I am a Deputy in a K-9 crew.
I've been trained to see it through.
When dangers near my ears perk up,
they taught me that as a little pup.
I'm often there to protect your rights,
my presence sometimes hinders fights.
I never attack with thought to kill,
when subduing one, my job I fill.
I never worry a single thought,
as how I will fare at a certain spot.
The love I have for my handlers care,
is all I need, each day to fare.
And if some day my luck turns bad,
I'll relish all the joys I've had.
To be with men who stand for good,
in a special kind of brotherhood.
The story's end, by now you know,
of how I tried for a better show.
I did my best, though I did fall,
when I was called and gave my all.

K-9 Biggie, you are the "Gold Standard" of K-9s. Strong, wise, always ready to serve, absolutely relentless in your pursuits, yet noble and sensitive. Now you can help God keep "track" of things up there and enjoy the rest and glory you deserve! Thank you, handsome boy, may God bless your partner with peace and comfort.
