How sad way to young. I think someone may have been a little antsy and wanted to try your skills to soon. Just an opinion.

Handsome K-9 Bane,
You made the sacrifice few men would ever give - your life for your partner. You ran the race perfectly and completed your mission. Rest now as a hero, enjoying the glory and peace you earned. May God bestow on your partner, the family you left behind and your department His peace. Violence blacked out your life, but your brightness will shine as a star forever!
