Reflections for K9 Boco

Don't grieve for me I served you well.
I loved you more than you could ever tell.
I am now an angel in blue.
I laid my life on the line for you.
I wore my badge with honor every day,
to keep citizens safe and out of harms way.
So when you see a badge worn with pride,
remember their comrades and friends that have died

The death of an officer is always hard. The death of a K9 is unbearable. Dogs by nature are so eager to please. They sacrifice themselves without thought or hesitation. Each and every death breaks my heart. Those touched by this loss have my utmost sympathy.

Yes very few who have never had a Dog, can grasp the Bond of a Dog and a Human.
K 9 and Service Dogs are a special breed, in that they will die for their " pack leader/handler.
This amazing animal will do all that you ask of them.
Once you have a Dog and they are your soulmate animal, shame on those who attempt to harm you.
K 9's are trained for a Job they Love and excel at.

The Killing of a Police K 9 should be treated as Murder!
Why you ask?
Because they are a commissioned Officer of the Law and are not prejudiced against the Crimminal, and respond to the Commands of their leader.
You are truly Blessed when you have such an Animal as your Friend.
REST in PEACE and enjoy your reward as you grow old!

A HEAVENLY HOME…

Are these magnificent creatures now with the Lord Himself in the Heavenly Realm? Pastor and Author Randy Alcorn at EPM.org certainly feels this is factual, and even devoted 2 chapters of his best selling “Heaven” book to establish his case. Many of his inspiring articles are at: https://www.epm.org/search/?q=Animals+in+Heaven. We can also get a glimpse of the Glorious Reunions awaiting their devoted Handlers, Trainers and Owners at ImagineHeaven.net May the Good Lord comfort these intelligent and brave animals and their human family and caring departments accordingly…

Boco, you were recently added to our team along with your handler as our new sergeant, but you had already been a huge part of our agency for some time. The shift before your early passing you came into the radio room for a visit and it will be one of my favorite memories of you. You came up to me to nuzzle my hand to pet you and then started to try to catch your shadow on the floor. When you couldn't catch it, you started to bark at it...lol This memory will always bring a smile to my face and in the hard times when I think of you, I will recall that night and know you are up there chasing your shadow. Rest easy Boco we have it from here.
