Reflections for K9 Endy
K9 Endy, today is Police Memorial Day and I wanted to leave a reflection in your honor. My Dad worked for Cache Sheriff's Office as a deputy during your time in service and although I never met you in person, I knew of your name and knew of your dedicated service to the City of Logan and Cache County. Thank you for doing what you did everyday in service of the officers who worked alongside you. Condolences to your handler. I am certain he thinks of you often and your absence weighs heavily on his heart. I hope he has found peace. I hope he holds onto the memories that he has of you, the good and the bad. Rest in peace. Your brothers will hold the line in your honor.

K9 Endy:
Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Cache County, Utah and to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! Now, my furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here! May the Lord God bless you, your family, your friends, and your colleagues always.
"Well done, good and faithful servant!" [Matthew 25:21 ESV]
Almighty God, the Cache County, Utah Sheriff’s Office was fortunate to receive the gift of K9 Endy from You. Now that he has left this life, please help them cope with his loss with strength and courage. We know that this beloved canine hero no longer suffers, and will live on in the fond memories of his loyal and dedicated law enforcement service for which he was trained. We pray that his accomplishments and unconditional love have enriched the lives of others and that he will forever be remembered by all those who loved and cared for him. After all, DOG spelled backwards is GOD! Amen.
