My husband being a long time member of OCSD for years knew, as I, Ajax’s handler, Deputy Breen. Matt was, as we expected, very devastated. That was his partner, friend and while at home a family member. It was painful when Ajax was found in the water because there was hope he was still alive. It was one of the most deeply touching funerals I’ve been to. Many handlers and their K-9’s attended to honor Ajax and support Deputy Breen.
