Rest in Peace K9 Krijger. As a former K9 handler I know you gave your all to protect your handler at all costs. Unfortunately you paid the ultimate sacrifice. You will never be forgotten. To your handler, I feel your pain brother. Not only a partner but a best friend out there patrolling the streets with you. My condolences.

Sending sympathy and prayers from Canton, Ohio where we are mourning the loss of K-9 Officer Jethro. It is almost incomprehensible that two K-9 officers could be killed in in the line of duty in as many days!
May God comfort all of the officers of the Norfolk PD, especially Krijger's handler.
Rest in Peace, Krijger, you are a a true hero. Thank you for your service.

A Prayer for K9 Krijger:
Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Norfolk, Virginia and to the Norfolk Police Department. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! All dogs do go to heaven because you have a spirit that epitomizes God's unconditional love. And He [Jesus] said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise" [Luke 23:43]. Now, my four-legged furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here. "Well done, good and faithful servant" [Matthew 25:11]. May the Lord God bless you always. Amen
