They wait, ever faithful, for the time we'll join them again. There'll come a day when their tail wags furiously & they go into that toothy grin, as we enter their rhelm never to be separated . Those eyes will look into ours and we'll know that to be with such a partner for all eternity is a true gift of God. Until then, they'll want another of their kind to take care of you as soon as you are able , even if it takes awhile. We're just not very good with our noses & hearing, don't have very good teeth, & don't move that fast, & sometimes we just need to chuckle . We need them, God knows

As the LORD awaits you with open, loving arms, the world sings their praises as you performed your duty with your officer partner. Jethro, you stepped up and did your duty to protect, but unfortunately, it was your time. We will all remember you, your service, your devotion to your human family and that beautiful expression on you face. GOD bless you, Jethro. We will see you again.

Rest in Peace K9 Jethro. As a former K9 handler I know you gave your all to protect your handler at all costs. Unfortunately you paid the ultimate sacrifice. You will never be forgotten. To your handler, I feel your pain brother. Not only a partner but a best friend out there patrolling the streets with you. My condolences.

Friend, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you don't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay.
My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
as long as you keep me alive in your heart.
I'll never wander out of your sight-
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach-
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.
I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around
and the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.
I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.
When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.
I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look for me, friend, I'm everyplace!

No one realizes how much officers sacrifice for the freedom and safety of those who care so little. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice and protecting this country. You are missed and appreciated.
