How tough this is. Many people see K9's as just animals. I could not disagree more. Sultan, along with all other K9's and family pets are part of our family and a part of our hearts and homes. I sincerely pray for Sultan's partner and hope they catch the man who did this. Job well done Sultan.

Rest in peace our four legged brother, your watch is now over. Thank you for your service to your partner and agency. God bless the family of the handler as well as the other officers at that agency. No doubt he will be sorely missed but for the handler, get back on the horse because another partner awaits you. I have had to retire one and now I am on my second K-9 and I never want to lose him this way because he IS now a member of our family. OKC PD lost a great K-9 named Kye last year to a stabbing while protecting his partner and today was the handler's first day with his new partner.
