Reflections for K9 Maros
Maro's I thank the Lord above that you were there for your handler. I know as a former handler of several k9 partners I always knew that my partner was there for me and I for them. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Walk with your handler in Heaven my friend.

Officers Maros. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to your community and your beloved partner Officer Crisp. Take care of your handler in Heaven just as you did here on earth. There is no bond like the one between a handler and his K9 partner. Rest in peace my brothers.

Thank you for doing your job without ever asking why. Jason and Maros's bond was one of the strongest I ever seen. The team was a fine example of how K9 is done. Atta boy Maros.

Working dogs have the best lives, especially German Shepherd police K-9s. Not only do they have a special bond with their handler, they are loved by his family. There is no doubt in my mind that just like us, they feel a sense of purpose and when they get into the back of that K-9 cruiser to start their shift, they know it's "game on" - time to go to work. Maros' life was cut short, just like Officer Crisp's, but I'm sure they both died doing what they loved. I am glad to hear that they will be buried next to each other. RIP warriors.

Maros, I was so saddened to hear that you were killed alongside Officer Crisp. Your family lost 2 loved ones on Wednesday. I am thankful for the K9's that are able to do the job that you were doing on the day you were killed (as well as all the work before that tragic day). Go run through the beautiful green meadows & forests in heaven now for your work on earth is finished.
