K9 Gus did such a wonderful thing for the family of the woman, whose body he found. I am so sorry to hear that he had such an unexpected accidental death. I hope that before he succombed he was able to enjoy the praises for his great work that day. My thoughts and prayers are with his partner/handler and fellow officers. RIP Gus, good boy!

Rest well my K-9 compatriot for your sacrifice was not in vain, As you cross the Rainbow Bridge and take the watch in heaven with those who have went on before, run and play and don't worry we've got it from here. May God bless the family both physical and law enforcement with peace and comfort as well as the community this K-9 unselfishly served.
