Reflections for K9 Baron
Trooper Coats lived down the street from me in Mechanicsville when I was a youngster. I admired his beautiful dog and was saddened to hear of Baron's death. I've been a lover of dogs all my life and I appreciate the human canine bond. I am sure Trooper Coats and Baron romp together at the Rainbow Bridge.

RIP, dear Baron. You will always be remembered by the niece of your handler, Robert H. Coats, Jr. My uncle introduced us when I was 5 years old and you made a extremely positive, lasting impression. Thank you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice in keeping the citizens in Virginia safe.
