a police dog as 'wacky' by a Georgia "Professor" tells me he is totally
uneducated to be a professor. It is a given that a human officer is of
infinite more value than a dog - reasonable people know that - but it is
not what is different that matters for a police dog killer to be held
accountable. What matters is what is the same - their status as a law
enforcement officer and the violence perpetrated against them.
The criminal would do to the officer/deputy/trooper what he did to the dog if he had the
opportunity and the dog did not stop him by sacrificing his own life to
save the handler/officer. They are partners together in the war on crime.
These dogs deserve protection in the law for serving for our freedom and
safety. The Georgia professor who said it is 'wacky' to do this is no
professor I would want teaching my grandchildren anything. Look in the
mirror Mr. 'Professor' - you seem to be the 'wacky' one there looking back
at you.
