Rondo
K9 Rondo was stabbed to death while attempting to arrest a hit-and-run suspect.
Rondo had served with the Vallejo Police Department for four years and had assisted in more than 50 captures.
In 2000, Rondo's handler, Police Officer Jeffry Azuar, was shot and killed in the line of duty in an unrelated incident.
