ODMP strives to provide the most meaningful and educational police memorial to survivors, law enforcement officers, and police supporters. We accomplish this by making your ODMP visit as personal and touching an experience as possible. You likely noticed our newest feature, which gives you the ability to create an account on ODMP. I hope that the FAQs below explain the benefits of creating an account. If they don't, or if you have any concerns, please send me a message through our contact form and I will personally respond to you.
I invite you to create your account now.
Best regards & be safe,
Chris Cosgriff

Why should I create an ODMP account?
We have introduced a lot of interactive features to ODMP over the past year, many of which provide a more personalized and meaningful experience when visiting the memorial. Creating an account gives you the ability to control what you see on the site and which notifications / newsletters your receive in your inbox. For example, creating an account will allow you to:
· Easily manage your email subscriptions
· Save officers to your "My Heroes" list to easily access their memorials and Reflections
· Users with accounts can more easily leave Reflections, and automatically add a signature to them
Do I have to create an account to use ODMP or receive LODD notifications?
No. Anyone can visit ODMP's website, but some interactive features may not be available if you are not logged in to an account.
It is highly recommended that you create an account to manage your LODD notifications. However, if you would prefer to subscribe to LODD notifications without creating account you can do so by clicking here.
What is "My Heroes?"
"My Heroes" allows your to personalize your ODMP visit by identifying one or more fallen officers who are important to you. The heroes added to your list will be the first officers you see when you login to your account. You will no longer need to search or browse ODMP to visit your hero's memorial or Reflections.
If you have left multiple Reflections for any officer on ODMP in the past, those officers might automatically appear in your "My Heroes" list when you first create your account. We also plan on adding more features to My Heroes in the future, such as notifications when new Reflections are left for one of your heroes.
What happens to my information?
As a law enforcement professional, we know how important your privacy is. The information you provide in your account settings is used only to personalize your experience while visiting ODMP or to send you the email notifications you subscribe to. You can view ODMP's entire privacy statement here.
I already receive LODD notifications and other emails. Do I still need to create an account?
No. If you don't want to create an account you will still receive your notifications. However, creating an account will make it much easier for you to manage which notifications you receive and the email address(es) they are sent to.
How do I close my account?
If you would like to close your account, please send us a message through our contact form.
