On today, the 83rd anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Miami.

Obviously no spring chicken, but apparently a tough old bird, Officer Marchbanks you truly are an inspiration. Starting your work with the Miami Police at age 58 and still working at 66, an age most of us hope to enjoy leisurely and far away from the job.

You deserve much respect. May God Bless and I hope you are resting in peace.
