Zeno Fults was my great grandfather, about whom I knew that as a police officer and young husband with two sons he was shot and killed while apprehending someone. My grandfather was his youngest (around 7 at the time), and of course the effects on the family were lasting. I am moved and amazed to find this tribute to him while conducting genealogical research.
