Paul- it is almost 7 months since you, Stephen and Eric left this Earth. I pray that you are at peace. Even today, my eyes swell with tears thinking of you and how much i enjoyed being around you. My life is better for knowing you. Thank you for your friendship and the smiles you have given me. I will miss you all the days of my life. Give me the courage each day to put on the uniform we so proudly wear and watch over me from Heaven. Love and friendship always- until we meet again...

I want to offer my condolences to this truly dedicated Officer and his family. It's a shame to hear that another officer has paid the ultimate sacrifice. We protect our communities from harm but take the risk of not coming home. I appreciate the service you have given us.

We know the ultimate price some are asked to pay.
We know it could be us,and yet we wear the badge another day.

We rush head long toward danger, without a second thought.
We fight, protecting freedoms those before us bought.

Each and every time, we hear another hero's down,
we stand with pride and honor, as they place him in the ground.

We hear the bag pipes blowing, salute the flags they fold.
As the heroes go to heaven to patrol the streets of gold.

Why do we keep on fighting with the dangers in the field?
Some say it's a calling, some the spirit of the shield.

The loss of an officer is felt throughout his/her agency and across the entire law enforcement community. The loss of three at one time breaks through even the toughest shells we build around ourselves in an attempt to carry on through these difficult times. My condolences to the family & fellow officers at Pittsburg Police Department.

RIP Officer Sciullo

I still don't have words. I remember when you told me that you had made it: you were a cop. You said it was the best thing you had ever done. You were truly happy. At your funeral, there were still no words. Just the visual of so many family, friends, and your fellow members of the law enforcement family. We all went to honor you, and in the end, I am honored that I was able to say "he is my friend." Godspeed to your family, and I have not stopped praying for everyone as we lean on each other and learn to deal with what has happened.
