We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of Chief of Police Johnny Hamilton. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support during this very difficult time. We know that sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement for support. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten. Chief of Police Johnny Hamilton is a hero.

I have known Johnny for six years, and served directly under him for the last year. If you did not know Johnny, you would think him gruff and hard. Under that gruff exterior beat a heart of gold, one that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, even if it meant he went shirtless for a while.
