GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER>> REST IN PEACE. CORPORAL JON LOWDER We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Captain Cashin and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever. TPD Dear Family, Friends, and Co-Workers of Captain Richard J. Cashin, Anonymous Captain Cashin did one last service to his community on March 29th 2009 in Allston Massachusetts. What happened was this, my older sister Jessica M. Cashin was at a job interview in Allston when someone stole her purse and her car and stranding her in Boston, at night and three hours from her family. Jessica called the local police but they were not willing to help at first because they thought her plight was "not important enough" to be worthy of their attention. But that changed when they realized that she had the same last name as Brave officer who had recently died in the line of duty. Once the police in Allston realized this they immediately set about helping Jessica and even finding her car. If the police had not recognized the importance of Jessica's last name then who knows what might have happened. Thank you for answering our prayers Captain Richard J. Cashin Civilian Thomas J.
