Love, Roylene Roylene A HERO TO MORE THAN HE KNOWS. ©2004 Emory - Ephrata, WA I'm sorry about the disrespect shown to your memory and those left behind by you in regards to the "recording artists" that used your photo Anonymous God bless the Hite family. Erik is truly a hero to all. Sister of a cop My heart goes out to Officer Hite's family in light of the recent disrespect directed at his death on a recent CD. It is hard that anyone could be so heartless and make light of his death. Jessica I grew up in Tucson, and went to high school with a girl named Kim Hite, so when I saw this on America's Most Wanted memorial, I thought maybe I know somebody in your family, and want to extend my condolences to Mrs. Hite, and their children, and all their extended family. I haven't been back to this website since we lost a sheriff deputy here in Hawaii, Daniel Browne-Sanchez, nearly two years ago. It's such a huge impact on the entire community, not only the community where the officer works, but the entire law enforcement community and their families. We all know it could happen, we pray every day for the safety of our own loved ones, and everybody who chooses to put themselves in harm's way to protect others. We'll never know how many lives were saved on June 1 by Erik's sacrifice. I'm very happy to see that Erik attended church, and knew our Lord, and I'm sure he has been welcomed into the eternal Kingdom. We pray for continued strength for his widow and children, that they may come to a place where grief will be replaced by the pride and comfort of knowing that Erik gave his life doing something he truly believed in. May God watch over all. Aloha ke Akua (God is Love) Nanci Munroe Erik, you were remembered on the latest officer down segment of America's Most Wanted. I recognized your photo from this website.
