It has taken me this this long to work up the nerve to read these, and I must say that I could not help but cry my tears all over again. James "Rock" as he was known to many was one of a kind. He touched so many hearts and I learned that there were so many people that he met only once, and was totally smittened by by character. I told her and she stated her son wanted to know. I told them where I worked and she stated her husband use to be a a trooper. She stated he died and told me who you were. I stated I knew of you and the look in your son's eyes was AWESOME. That young Man is PROUD of his daddy. He asked me "Do you know my daddy?' Just the look in your family's eyes. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. Even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure James will always be a part of yours.
