I know you were there last night, along with Dad - I could feel your spirit. You loved this time of year! It brings back so many great memories which I am thankful for and cherish. I know Mike really misses you right now - we all do! Thanks for watching over Joe - and DB!!

I'm remembering the loss of U-City's loss of Sgt. King this weekend, and that invariably leads me to think about you, Sgt. Biggs and Officer Ballman as well. I was fortunate enough to attend National Police Week in D.C. last May and remember seeing your photo on the wall.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that no matter how many years go by, you're definitely not forgotten. I think/pray for your family so often, and I hope you and your fellow brothers in blue are at peace together up there.

It was a great honor to get to know your sister Kathy over this past weekend at a C.O.P.S. siblings retreat just outside of Potosi MO. She is a very outstanding an caring person. I consider her a good friend now. I know that you mean so much to her and that she misses you very much! Thank you for your service and protecting our communities.
