Reflections for Park Ranger Margaret A. Anderson

A beautiful park and area whose tranquility has been temporarily shattered. We mourn the loss of a hero and pray for the family and friends/co-workers left behind. God bless Ranger Anderson's husband, a fellow ranger and father left behind to raise 2 children after this cowardly tragedy. Rest in peace Ranger, we have the watch. You will not be forgotten.

Mount Rainier National Park is one of my favorite places in the world. I am so thankful for the law enforcement officers in the park and outside the park who do everything they can to protect us. Ranger Anderson is a hero as well as all the members of her family who shared her with us.

I feel for her poor family, esp her husband being at work at the same time. I hope they can rest in the knowledge that she is a hero. What could have happened if he got through? Maybe she saved other lives by sacrificing her own. Bless all who knew her.

My deepest symphathy to the family as well. Ms. Anderson's spirit will always be a part of the National Park and law enforcement services. I too have lost a nephew recently due to an accident and appreciated when his co-workers were there for support. The dedication and courage to service the United States is truely appreciated.
