Officer Milles and his partner answered a call regarding a disturbance call in the 3200 block of North Shartel. The officers became involved in a struggle with two suspects. One suspect struggled with the second officer for control of his weapon. Several shots were fired; Officer Mills was struck by one round and was killed. |
