Officer Terney, i'm here on the 8th anniversary of your passing. It's been some time since i first wrote a reflection on learning about your killer's death, but honestly, i think i should've wrote more. I'd like to start by saying that you being a young man at the time of your death says alot, which proves how brave you were to make a difference in your city, which im proud of you in doing so. But like i said beforehand, the man who took you away from your brothers and sisters in blue along with your family is gone, which means that karma finally caught up to him after all those years, which gives a sense of justice and peace to those who knew you and met you. From what i've learned, you seemed like a nice guy to talk to and be around, and you were one of the good officers who was just getting started in their career because they wanted to make a difference. All in all, you did make a difference as you helped protect and serve your city and people, which does take alot of courage and bravery to do so, and you had that in you. But as of now, your service is highly appreciated, and you can rest in peace knowing that awful human being finally got what was coming to him for taking your life, and your family and anyone who knew you can have a sense of peace. You're still protecting and serving in the afterlife, as it's what you loved to do, and you're watching over your loved ones in times of grief. As of now, may you rest in peace knowing your service is appreciated, and you will be missed. Rest Well Mr. Terney
