View all 12 ReflectionsWalter was my favorite Brother. Today out of eleven siblings there are only 2 remaining Myself; Marlene "Stewart" Wells and Gordon Stewart. Walter was #6 of 11 children, I am #10, and Gordon was #11 of 11. We were all born at home in Chandler AZ then moved to Phx about 1935. Our Mother Pearl "Brewster" stewart was also born in the Territory of Arizona in 1894. Mother nursed Walter through Smallpox, and Spinal Meningitis at our home (not at the same time) he then survived WWII as an Aerial Photographer. He had just been hired by the FBI and was getting ready to leave for Quantico when he was killed. He left a beautiful and wonderful wife and 2 year old son and a huge family that adored him. The drunk who killed him was given bond, walked out of the jail and left, he never stepped foot in court and got away with being drunk and leaving my Brother in the street to die. He got away with murder.
