One day he asked me if I wanted to learn to fly. A few weeks later he cut the tail off my best shirt as he soloed me. He was a great man. Full of fun and taught me to appreciate flying and the joy it brought. We flew many aircraft together as he often had side jobs with oil companies and the King Ranch. I miss him and always stop by the flight line at Kleberg Airport to pay my respects. Good air Rob. See you later.
