Agent Price was shot and killed near San Antonio, Texas, by a murder suspect wanted by the FBI. Agent Price was taking ammunition to agents who were already in position. When he failed to respond to radio transmissions other agents searched for him. He was found in brush 35 feet from his car with a gunshot wound. The suspect later committed suicide.

Agent Price had only been with the agency for one year.
